Deer Park, IL (January 10, 2013) – The Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers and Distributors Association (ICMAD) will host their second annual Get With It…Get Healthy health and wellness event, which will benefit the national charitable organization, Look Good…Feel Better^®. The concept of maintaining a healthier lifestyle is not new, but with our busy lives it sometimes can be a bit daunting to fit it all in. Get With It…Get Healthy is a day devoted entirely to wellness, giving you the tools to adopt a fit and organized way of life that is attainable with today’s hectic lifestyles.

ICMAD is proud to announce that the prestigious Dr. Howard Murad will be joining this year’s program as the Keynote Speaker. Whether you are familiar with Dr. Howard Murad as one of the world’s leading authorities on healthy living, as the visionary who developed Inclusive Health, the world’s most comprehensive theory of health and aging, or as the founder of Murad skin care, in every aspect of his professional career, Dr. Howard Murad has been a man ahead of his time. His lunch session will cover how daily choices affect your overall health, wellness and aging – from an Inclusive Health perspective. Dr. Murad has treated more than 50,000 patients and has initiated groundbreaking wellness research pertaining to cellular water. He also originated the use of dietary supplements to promote skin and whole body health and is the pioneer of the use of Alpha Hydroxy Acids, Antioxidants, Pomegranate and Durian in topical skincare. This not-to-miss session will change the way you look at your health and family’s lifestyle.

Celebrity Fitness expert, Kathy Kaehler returns to demonstrate how to maximize their exercise program to gain healthy results. She also will discuss her widely successful Sunday Set-Up lifestyle program to help individuals lead a healthier and more productive life.

The intimate sessions hosted by Murad and Kaehler will benefit Look Good…Feel Better^®, a nonprofit organization  dedicated to improving self-esteem and quality of life of people undergoing treatment for cancer. The organization has deep roots with ties to the beauty industry and has the full support of ICMAD, Personal Care Products Council and member companies. The Beauty ~ Wellness Lounge returns with a newly added yoga session, nail, makeup, lash, and skincare stations; all at special rates that will also benefit the charity. Guests can also bid on an array of silent auction items throughout the day.

	Kathy Kaehler / Session One: Pump it Up! Time: 10:00am – 10:45am Session Overview: This 45 minute class will challenge your cardio, strength and balance. Get your heart rate up and blast off some calories. You will feel your legs, butt, arms and back after this class. Kathy will discuss the benefits of cardio and strength training and how many times you should do PUMP IT UP to see healthy results.
	Kathy Kaehler / Session Two: For Your Abs Only! Time: 11:00am – 11:45am Session Overview: Who doesn’t want a well-defined core? This 45 minute workout focuses only on your abs. Kathy will go over effective ab combinations that will tighten, tone and shape your mid-section. Don’t miss Kathy’s exclusive CORE workout, a mini ab workout that can be done anywhere, anytime with no equipment.
	Keynote: Lunch with Dr. Howard Murad “Eating from an Inclusive Health Perspective” Time: 12:15pm – 1:45pm Session Overview: You are what you eat, and your skin, body and mood also reflect your diet. But what else affects your wellness? Dr. Murad will cover how daily choices affect your overall health, wellness and aging. Additionally, he will speak on topics such as cultural stress and how modern day living has been scientifically proven to have a negative impact on cellular health, while offering his theories of “Youth Building” to counteract these effects.
	Session Three: Kathy Kaehler’s “Have you Made a Difference in Your Life?” Time:2:00pm – 3:00pm Session Overview: While it’s great in theory, preparing fresh and healthy snacks and meals every day of the week can be quite the task. Whether you’re a mom or dad and feeding an entire family, or just want to be good to yourself, it can be time consuming and overwhelming. Instead of stressing about how you are going to pull it together day after day and night after night, Sunday Set-Up is your plan-ahead solution. Learn how to get organized in the kitchen and quickly plan healthy meals for the week ahead. Kathy Kaehler will teach her celebrity favorite, Sunday Set-Up™, program in this session.
